Refer important fitting instructions below:-
The impellor is fitted to the shaft by means of a left hand thread.
After fitting the drive gear and nut (Nut torque 6.0 to 7.0 kgm) the impellor should be checked for a torque of 6.0 to 7.0 kgm . The drive gear should be held during this operation , not the impellor.
If the pump is seized or tight , you will find that the impellor has wound itself away from the seal on the shaft and will be hard up against the end plate.
